Please ID, 99% sure it is a pest anemone

This little sucker just sprouted up in my 8gal nano tank out of the blue a few days ago. I have not added any rock or coral from the outside since the tank was started back in last August as seen on my thread here http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1681164. I have added a few frags taken from my 90gal setup, but other than that this is the first appearance of this critter in ANY of my tanks.

I planed to kill this little beastie via lethal injection unless someone has a better idea or thinks it should get a stay.

Thanks in advance,
Brann

it's definitely a pest anemone. You can kill it with some concentrated kalkwasser (although I think that's what you're referring to with the 'lethal injection') Good luck. They're kind of a pain.

Aiptasia, careful how you kill it. Looks like it's growing from beneat the base of a leather so if you inject it and it pulls back, which it will do, you could kill off your leather as well.
