Please id: meteor shower smthng?

Hello,

As a part of a trade a got a beautiful frag from a reputed refeer in my area. The eyes are quite big, about an inch in diameter, and there at least three colors to it, sometimes more - not very well visible in my photo. He told me it was very valuable, although could not give latin name - I think he called it Meteor Shower smthing? If somebody can id it and give tips on care, would be very grateful. It seemed to to well in the sand in the tank of the guy I got it from. I also wonder about the price - he mentioned something like $150 - is it possible? I am just begging to do SPS.

This would be a LPS coral known as Acanthastrea Lordhowensis. Meteor shower is usually a Cyphastrea species, but it's just a name and can really be put on anything. $150 for that piece is steep. Maybe six years ago when they where being introduced into the hobby.

Thank you for the reply. Somehow thought it was sps. I do have an acan lord frag, but looks very different - will try to get a better photo of this one just in case. Thank you very much for your answer

+1 acan LPS. About $10-15 unless really rare it could be more!
