I first saw this floating around in the AM and thought it was just colorful poop. But I found it on the glass, siphoned it up and now can tell it is alive - it move around - I've only seen them in the morning and I only see one about once a week - what is it please? Thank you

perfect - thanks - funny how things show up after months/years - I also have something snapping in my tank - not a loud snap - and didn't before - all this without adding anything new to my tank for at least 2 years

poor guy - I left him on a table in water problem is the copper penny - if he survives the day I will put him back - should have thought about that

Spaghetti worms. Yours looks like it has sauce on it as well. But the snapping sound, well, sounds like a pistol shrimp. We have one that we know of, came in on a finger coral -er, stylophora. They hide well and occasionally "snap".
