Where did your rock come from? I'm going to guess and say Porphyra Leucostica see here . My guess is based only pictures so who knows. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will take a stab at it as well. If I'm correct with the ID then I think its also, or used to be called Nori. Probably a very nice addition to your reef tank and food for any herbivorous fish.

I'm not sure where the rock came from but it use to be the best for Carnation Tree Coral(Dendronephthya sp.) with pink color, so I guess it came from Fiji or South Pacific.
the coral die ,$60 coral but this thing replace in the coral place.
