Colony is a light neon green with purple coralites. And ball shaped over all with approximately the same sized branches.

Maybe but the colony seems more rounded than pillow shaped, and all the branches are equall thickness with only one axial coralite so far, maybe because it's only around 8". Is this specimen rare?

Now that I look at the coral again it does have more than one axial per branch but I don't think it's the above mentioned acro

It's a tough call, you can't really determine the ID by color, structure is a good way to lead, but not definite. The pics on this site will show the same Acro growing in different structures. Can't really say if it is rare or not. Not until you figure out what it is.

I think this may be a winner. If not its as close as I've seen. The colony was infested with aefw. It's been cut into frags and Gone through a 6 week dipping process coupled with fws. I'm happy to say that the frags have almost regained full color and are completely flatworm free.

Nice! Good to see you were able to save it. You will probably have better luck with it cut up anyways. That colony looked pretty compact and it can be very difficult to replicate the flow needed for it to be happy.
