Looks like either sinularia or nepthea to me. I get the two confused sometimes though.

+1 :)

Nephthea...ok thanks!! :) Here I was thinking it was an odd specie, but I guess it's just odd color. I haven't been able to pick up the brilliance of it's coloring yet on my camera as I have it shadowed a bit right now as it acclimates to my tank.

Ok, thanks. The tank is 24" deep, and I have 2x250w DE halides and 2x39w T5 (even though the tank is 48" long). I'm assuming I would need to keep this Nepthea out of the direct light of the halides? I still have it shadowed by a Sinularia sp Finger Leather. I also have some GSP...I've heard rumors that these three do not play well together. i will eventually get rid of the Sinularia when my tank grows in more, but for now it's taking up some real estate. These are the only corals in my tank that aren't LPS.

I have my Nepthea close to middle of tank in height-maybe a bit higher. My tank is 24" deep also. I use Nova Extreme Pro T5's.
All polyps on branching extend fully. If you are using Halides, I agree you will want to bring it up slow to adapt.

Ok thanks! I do get full polyp extension on my Sinularia, and it is pretty much dead centre, which means it's right between the two halides, so it does get quite a bit of light. I didn't really think about that. Haha! I moved the Nepthea out of the shadow and out into the open, but on the bottom of the tank, and it really enjoyed the halides yesterday. :)
