Those would be Flatworms, looks like Red Planarias . I am having an outbreak of them too! what i have done which has worked on getting the ones i can see is, take a suringe and a piece of tubing just big enough to fit on the end. have on person aim the tube on top of the flatworm and have someone else suck it out. You don't want these in your tank. There is also fish that will eat them; Six-lined wrasse, mandarins, and nudibranchs will eat them too. There is this stuff called Flatworm eXit but i heard its dangerous for your tank.

Are these the same as AEFW?
I started looking for pests because I have an Acro colony that's looking pretty bad.

I'm not to familiar with AEFW, but here's an older thread reguarding them. The ones you have look like red planaria. (flatworms)

if im not mistaken those should be harmless, my lfs had an out break in their coral tank and not one coral was eaten or even nibbled at

These are not AEFW, they look to be as mentioned, harmless flatworms. Depending on your population could there due to higher nutrients (food source). If the population is too large you could use flatworm exit, or just get a fish that eats them, they will also die off as the food source does. If you use FWE, the mass kill will release toxins into the water, so you'd want to do a water change right after and run carbon.
