There is a lot of wrangling and jockeying for position going on and it was bound to happen when power is at stake. here is the bottomline...in spite of all of the beneath the surface issues, there is one overriding issue at play, and that is some are unhappy I put out a communication regarding a decision regarding nominations. Contrary to what some might lead you to believe that communication was made when all of the opinions of the board members currently/was known. In that, 3/5 of the board agreed on the nomination/election process as I laid it out. Now since it came from me, there is resistence...I don't disagree, I am a polarizing figure, some people like me, some are indifferent, some hate me...I could care less. All I know is where each board member stood on the subject and instead of taking it offline for weeks of discussion, I decided to lay it out there to move things forward.

that's what all of this boils down to, no more, no less. In the process some of the beneath the surface issues have resurfaced, which is to be expected in a contentious debate. I'm sorry it has come down like this, but it is a 3/2 decision, and those who don't like it should put it to the next board to revise that issue. It's really quite simple...I am hearing the betching and moaning toward me, but I am not going to be part of the process anymore. Why now pull the plug?? Guys like Murf and Eric have ample opprtunity to propose changes in a few weeks...someone had to make a call, and with knowing everyone's position on the voting/nomination process I made the call. It is very fair to everyone running...it gives no one a clear advantage, or a disadvantage.

that's really all I have to say...instead some folks want to make this about me, and how I have driven off many or turnouts have been high b/c I haven't been involved, blah, blah, blah...thtose assertions are the furthest thing from the truth, and if anyone has ever met me at a meeting you know I am nonconfrontational...seems more like a convienient arguement to make than the truth.

Please move forward, get a new board in place, so I don't have to make the call anymore, and you guys can elect someone else to consider all and make a decision or a communication.

This is the last I am going to post on the subject. I just received a PM from Robert and I quote " I was not involved in any voting on the election process." So that means Eric D, myself and Robert did not vote on it then who are the 3 that you had supporting it? Robert said he will post when he gets off work but I have the pm.

Ahh Murf...what do you want to accomplish? What is your goal here? Why do you think I made the post yesterday?? Ask yourself...does Eric L. have any self interest in that decision that was made?? I am not running for any position...

I had discussed this with Robert, and Todd over a week ago...then I read Eric's thoughts in the thread and yours via email. I can tell you if ever minor detail has to be voted upon, nothing will ever get done. This is a minor detail IMO, so taking into consideration the thoughts of all parties I made the call...partially to protect Eric and Todd since they had been nominated and accepted those nominations. I didn't see the point of a pi$$ing match ensuing with canidates in the middle...it would have made things a lot worse. It's not like I had the intention to screw anyone, or circumvent the process...In my roles in life I have always been in decision oriented roles.

I mean to take a line from a PM and post it as gospel...well things can be easily taken out of context.
