plugging holes in acrylic tank?

hi,
i was wondering what the best way to plug holes drilled in an acrylic tank? the tank was drilled for a closed loop and i dont want to run a closed loop i plan on running 2 mp40w.

so i was wondering if i could just use acrylic weldon and glue some acrylic plugs over the holes? the holes are 4 on the bottom and 1 on the back.

any advice would be greatly appriciated

Just use a square of acrylic alittle bigger than the hole and use weld-on to glue it down. I'd go all the way around the edges and on the botton/side also. I did this on my tank and have had no problems for 3 yrs!!

I used some bulkhead fittings with plugs on my sump that was drilled. That should work too I think.
