I just had my 265 delivered and I found that the tank has 4 holes that are the same size. A 1 inch pipe will fit the 4 bulkheads. the tank has the megaflow corner over flows. I have a dart pump with an upgradded impeller that puts out 4200 gph at 0 ft of head, should I make all 4 holes drains and run the return up over the back of the tank. I have dual sumps that are going to be connected to 2 equalizer pipes (29gal and 25gal tall ) .How much flow through 4-1 inch drain pipes? any ideas and plumbing options?

According to the drain size calculator on RC home page, your 1 inch drains will flow about 600 gallons per hour each, so all 4 will flow 2400 gph.

Ok I'm going to go over the back with 2-1inch lines . I T'ed off the dart to a 1.5 inch 'T' and a 1.5 inch cross pipe with 2-90 angles at each end and will reduce it to the 1 inchers. and will use all 4 overflows as drains to the sump any more ideas on flow now

can you elaborate on the upgraded dart?id like to see how you upgraded the impellar.what does that mod do to efficiency?

The person I bought it from sent it in for a leak and while it was there they offered an upgrade to a better/different impeller that should put out 4200 gph.

Probably at 0 head pressure, but what will it do as soon as it gets head pressure, the Dart is already a very weak pump when it comes to head pressure. I'm sure you can answer that question once you get it up and running since with four 1" drains the most you can push is ~ 2,400 GPH, just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't overflow the tank if the 1" drains can't keep up.
