Plumbing help

So I spent all day today plumbing my frag tank, sump fuge and display tank together. The good news is nothing is leaking. The bad is the frag tank looks like it's going to overflow. I have an over flow box on my DT . draing to the sump. I have the sump and the fuge hooked up with 1" pvc. The frag tank is a 20L drilled in the middle with 1" pvc. the return pump is around 600GPH. The drain on the frag tank seems to be losing its suction.
So why this be happening? Any help would be great.
Thanks Joe

got any pics? not sure what you mean by losing its suction, unless it is an overflow like your DT.

here it is being good

then it does this and the water level rises

I am assuming you got 1 pump returning water to your DT, and your frag tank? Do you have any kind of gate valve controlling water flow from that pump? It's just a matter of controlling how much water flow that drain can handle.

do you have any further out photos of how the water is circulating between the tanks. I'm no plumbing expert but I feel that water level should be flush with the drain.

Well after a couple of hours playing with the pump i realized there is a cord under the one end of the stand and the thank is off level. So today I get to drain the tank and fix it. Problem solved. Thanks for the input, glad it was a simple stupid mistake.
