What is the best way to set up a 120 using bulkheads? Drain to a sump then returned....What Size? How many? Placed where? If anyone could point to diagrams that would be great.

thanks..

I have a google sketchup drawing of mine somewhere in my gallery. I'd post it, but it's a pain to do it from my phone. Tank was drilled for closed loop as well. If this helps at all.

I would use an overflow in each corner with a 1.5" drain and 1" return in each overflow box. Keep in mind you are going to have to plumb so both drains fall into the same section of the sump, and then I would use 1 return pump that pumps to the center of underneath the tank, T's off and separates back to each return line. That way you only have to use 1 return pump. Of course, if you want to use 2 externals, you would have the benefit of a working backup, in case one goes out while your not home. Return pump failure is not that big of a deal though, and isn't something that would destroy your tank while your at work, as long as you have other powerheads that will continue to work in the tank.
