Plummeting ORP after ozone turns off. Help

Ozone and ORP?

I use an apex to run my ozone machine, my ORP started at 317, it was around 320 for abt 10 or more days plus a few more days that's wasn't being monitored. Anyway, I used my ozone to raise the ORP to 350, just wanted to take it slow, I reached 350, apex turned off my ozone, then my ORP began to plummet down to 215. What's the issue? It has done that 3 times now.

My ozone is connected to my skimmer intake.
And I use the ozoneator as a constant one mode, but then after the Apex turns it off and then back on it resorts back a setting of 60/ hour

Any info or help would be appreciated

I've had similar things happen, I am not running mine off an apex however.If I ever Touch my ORP Meter cord at the entrance point of the generator, the ORP jumps around, but always comes back to 400mv/l.

How long have you been running ozone?

Ozone usually drops once it turns off
Are you sure you don't have a dead snail or something that us decaying
Also you need to clean the probe about once a month
Are you using a dryer bead reactor. This also a very important unit for ozone to work
