'Pods and CUC question

My 24 gal Nano Cube has been setup for a week and a half. LFS did a water test this past Monday and it was about 2/3 of the way through the cycle. I assume that by tomorrow (Friday) my nitrites should be down to zero. If that is the case I am planning to purchase my CUC (there's a good bit of algae at this point already). My LFS offers a discount on their CUC packages. For my tank it would include - Medium Package (up to 29 gallons): 10 Blue Leg Hermits, 10 Astrea Snails, 1 Serpent Star, 3 Nassarius Snails, 1 Emerald Crab, and 1 Neon Blue Leg or Scarlet Reef Hermit.
I just noticed what I hope are some type of 'pods on the sides of the tank this morning. They are basically white spots about as big as two pinheads. My question is should I hold off on getting the Nassarius Snails and the Serpent Star to allow the 'pods to live and reproduce in the sand or will it likely not make much difference between adding them now and adding them in a few weeks?
Thanks for the feedback. :fish1:

personally i think thats too much and too soon for your tank. 4-5 hermits and a few asterina snails would be fine for right now. stay away from the starfish for sure until your tank is more established. the nessarius snaills are a great addition but they do not eat algea so until you get some fish and are feeding the tank thats a waste of money. just start slow for now and give your tank time to completely settle. this hobby is all about patience and time. i hope this helps ya some, i just hate seeing people rush into this hobby just to fail from going too fast or adding too much.

Thanks. Yes I am definitely afraid that once the initial outbreak of algae is cleared the snails might starve. My thoughts are to switch out the nassarius and 5 of the hermits for about 4 trochus snails.

still too much too soon....start out slow and start small. there is no way your tank needs that much of a clean up crew after only a couple weeks of running. there is no point in saving a few bucks if most of the CUC end up dead after a week or so in ur tank because it is not finished cycling and there is no food to support them. but too each there own and i wish you the best of luck.
