pokerstar monti had white film on it

Doing some work in tank and noticed pokerstar had a white film on half of it. Almost looked like a spider web on top of it. Any ideas?

Agreed. My whole sunset monti has done this and is fine 12 hours later

I had a worm growing near one of my corals that would cast out a web of slime to snare food. When it was hunting it would look like the thing was covered in cobwebs. Maybe the same thing here? Anyway, I dust off my corals with a turkey baster and that takes care of it.

Vermiculated Snail; an encrusting mollusk that "sprays" a feeding web to catch debris and pulls it back in to feed. These guys can be annoying if they keep agitating the coral. I lost a large Monti Nadosa from this. Super glue him in.
