Polarizer

Does anyone use a polarizer while taking pics of their tanks?
Any comparative shots with and without polarizer would be greatly appreciated.

Nope because the amount of polarised light is too little. It only really starts making a difference when one wants to darken skies or remove reflections from the water. Since we usually take pictures through the glass of the aquarium, it will make no difference except require a longer exposure thus risking blurring of the subject due to motion.

I have tried, it makes absolutely minimal difference. There is so little difference that it isn't worth the lose of 2 stops of light. Teh slight differences I observed can't be classified as "imporvement" either.
