Usually don't ask these questions because it's so hard to find the cause of why your polyps have closed, but here's the deal if anyone can help.
Got two types of colorful polpys on a rock. Ones bam bam, and the other is a green type I'm unsure of. The green polyps all of a sudden just closed up 3 days ago at the same time. The bam bams on the other hand are open looking good. (there's about 10 of each coral type) I tested the water and nitrates and ammonia are undetectable by my API tester. I don't think something is eating them because they all closed up the same time, and the bam bams aren't closed. The tank is fishless. Algae isn't covering them. Only thing I can think of is the mushroom coral was shedding and "maybe" letting some toxins in the water, but I threw carbon in a day ago and nothing changed. ?????? :sad2:
