Polyps on rock

I recently received a piece of live rock that had a bunch of polyps on it. They weren't fully opened when I first got it but still slighty opened. Now they don't seemed to be open at all. My water quailty is good and other zoas and coral are doin good. I didn't get the rock for the zoas but would still like for them to open. Just don't know whats goin on?

It might have a fungal or bacterial infection. I would do a daily dip in tmpcc and/or revive and put them in an area of good flow. If you are seeing white spots on the polyps, then treat for zoapox with furan-2.

I am curious what "vitamins" you are dosing to improve zoanthid health?

Sorry for the late reply. This is what a good LFS recommended to me and it helped a bunch.

How long have you had it? Some zoas are sensitive and take a while to open up after acclimation.
