Pom Pom Crab?

hey all,
i just bought two pom pom crabs for my 55 gal restart reef tank. does anybody know anything about these unique crabs and could everyone post their pictures of their awesome pom pom crabs!

55gal tank? you're never gonna see that crab ever again. tank minimum is 1gal, max is 15gal and that is pushing it. there's a max on these guys because they are reclusive and without a small enough tank they will hide so much that you may well never see em.

that said, Im sure it will be okay in the tank if it doesnt get eaten or bullied to death (they can be bullied by even small hermits) by just scavenging.

yea, i know the chances of seeing them ( i have two) is going to be hard. I bought them so hopefully i can see them every now and then. And in my reef tanks i usually do not do hermit crabs because i noticed they can pick on coral and they kill snails. I usually only have snails. I do not have fish in my tank and probably won't for a while. i just thought the pom pom crabs are a neat addition to the tank. if im lucky i'll see them every now and then =D.

I've had one in my 90 gal for the past 4 months. It's gone through multiple molts and still has both anemones. They are definitely shy, but you'll see them from time to time, usually back in the rockwork. Really cool additions to the tank-- one of my favorite critters, despite their shyness.
