pompano beach sand

I asked bills reef about this and he said it would prob make for some good live sand a few yards out. my only doubt is will it cause algae blooms through silicates is fl beach sand reef safe silicate wise?anybody out there used it before?

I'm pretty sure that you are not allowed to harvest sand in Florida. Besides I personally wouldn't use it just because I don't know what's in it. Organisms, pollution, and other fun stuff.

I wouldnt either, for same reasons mention above.

I don't know the latest regulations but many years ago I used beach sand with good results.

Apart from regulations im talking silicates and disease as long as those aren't a problem
