popeye medication that is reef safe

any help is appreciated.
currently i have a big problem with my flame angel which developed a popeye recently. my problem is it is hard to cath this fish because i have a reef tank and i have to tear down the whole system in order to catch the fish. this is on a 90g mixed reef.
i am wondering if anybody has been in this situation before and what medication you have used to treat the popeye and any negative effect on the reef system. i know antibiotic will kill both good and bad bacteria in the tank but i have no idea on the effect on corals.

i have treated popeye before but in a hospital tank with furan2. TIA

Is it just popeye in one eye or both? if it's just one eye, it is likely from a physical damage injury, in which so long as the fish is no longer traumatized, it could be ok.

If it's in both eyes, you're going to have to put it into QT. :/
