andrewsmart New member Nov 20, 2006 #2 is it one eye or two. if it is one i have been recomended epson salts wetwebmedia has lots of info. if two it will probably be internal bacteria. i have just treated my butterfly fish with melafix and one eye is back to normal and the other has improved but is not perfect yet. most people dont recommend it on her but medicines in the uk are limited. a decent broad spectrum antibiotic is probably what you want. google popeye thei is lots of good info on it. also it is often suggested that this is caused by poor water quality check your paramaters and look to do some water changes.
