porcupine puffer

I have had a 7" porcupine puffer for about a week now, it eats fine but is constantly swimming up and down the glass at one end of the tank so much so that's its starting to wear out his skin.

Any ideas why it might be doing this?

I dont know why they do this but Ive heard its a problem with this puffers. I hear they are more active at night and dont appreciate bright lighting.Hope this helps a bit

In my experience Puffers will cruise the glass/tank sides. I wouldn't worry unless an infection starts to show.
