well some idiot(me) got water on my reefkeeper lite modules and they are now fried. Instead of spending $200 i was thinking of selling things (all but tank) and going freshwater. Just checking for possible interest.

2 false percs (that refuse to go into my anem)
2 bangaii
1 one spot foxface
1 kole tang
1 sargassum trigger
1 sixline
1 cleaner shrimp
1 yellow watchman
1 frogspawn 3 heads
1 florida fighting conch
1 sea cucumber

equipment
MSX 200 skimmer
nova extreme pro t5 48"
200 lbs live rock
reefkeeper lite head module (pc4's seem destroyed), mlc, sl1

JDL, sorry to hear about you thinking of getting out. I would be interested in the Bangaii, Kole Tang, Cleaner shrimp, Yellow watchman, and the trigger. Of course depending on prices. BTW, not sure if you are interested, but I have a 48" PC fixture if interested.

JDL - I have a 24" aquamedic halide light - cheap... I would be interested in the Trigger too and the watchman. But you really don't want to go back to fresh water.

well i heard from DA tech support. They said the modules may dry out, give it a day, so tomorrow morning i'll try to see if it works. Right now they turn on and off randomly.

so just checking interest, still not sure if i am switching to freshwater. However interest and non working controller will sway me into freshwater.

Will make a game fish tank which will be fun.

right now the only thing that isnt working is my lights and skimmer. I put my heaters on a different circuit so they are working.

JDL - This works with phones. Put the electronics in a bag filled with rice. It pulls the moisture out of the electronics.

game fish tank tho would be very cool i always wanted to make a river tank with a 55gal and a very strong pump to make a current and have small walleye in it

Over the past few years, I would take my girls fishing for bluegill. They would always want to throw them in a bucket. At the end of the day, we would select a few, throw the rest back in and bring a couple home and place in a tank for the summer. Just before the fall we would take them back to the pond. Actually, got me back into fish keeping. Was cool to have even them. Loved their aggression at whatever you would feed them. They especially loved crickets.

yea they are very aggressive fish im a big fisherman myself and always thought it would be cool to have a whole little ecosystem with live plants and all it would be very cool and all the livestock you could take from a small pond or whatever

i thought it would be real cool to have a river tank with trout and have a chiller with it and what not there is just tons of possibilities

will probably decide tonight if i am selling and going freshwater.

i have no idea how to even catch these fish without draining all the water.

hmm how big is the frogspawn? Do you have any pics that i could see

old pic, it is much fuller now and has 4 heads (started with 3)

ok i think the decision has been made to break it down. While it pains me, i will be happy with a gamefish setup and a lower electric bill. Make offers if you dont like the pricing.
