possible dead monti

I have a red monti that I bought a week ago and I can't tell if it's dead. It's not white or anything but I can't see any polyps like I can with my other montis. I have a seasons greeting monti and a green monti that I can see small polyps on. I have it mounted half way in my tank. I'll take a pic when my battery in my camera charges.

If it's not white, then the flesh is most likely still alive. What type of flow is it in? You may try putting it in a higher flow area and just give it time.

you may take time to adjust. i had one that the plyops did not come out fir a month

out of all the corals ive had the monti's ive had have taken the longest to adjust for some reason took mine like 2 weeks to have the polyps come out
