possible fungus/ick on cow

Please help! Recently I discovered stray current in my 210. I was able to alleviate the situation but now I am afraid that it has caused undue stress to my two of my fish and am unsure of how to proceed. Attached are pictures of my cow fish. He has spots on his fins and his eyes seem to have some kind of fungus. There is also a Domino damsel that is looking rather gray.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am now putting the cow in quarantine.

Thanks

Hi,

The "stray current" you mentioned has nothing to do with the problem your cowfish has.

What is the full species list of fish in this tank? My first inclination is to say this fish has Cryptocaryon, (marine ick).

Anyone...please. His eye has completely closed up this morning. The other eye is still very cloudy. He is in a QT, where all parameters are good. I bought some Maracyn-Two. Should I try to treat with that? I am a little afraid to being that I don't know what's wromg with him. I couldn't get him to eat last night, I'm not sure he can see the food.

Please help, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jay,

The tankmates are a Lion (who has been with the Cow for 2yrs), A dominating Domino Damsel (who also looks stressed), a Squirrel fish and a toadfish. The Toad stays hidden, but is the newest addition to the tank. He's been in there about a month. The tank is a 210. I noticed yesterday a very high salinity level. (1.030sg) Could that be the stressor that caused this outbreak. I am doing a major water change on the 210 today.

Jay, did you write an article on eye diseases in fish? Your name looks very familiar. Yesterday his eye was covered with a thick film, but there was still an opening. Today it is completely closed over. Is that a sign of ICH? I see some white spots on his fins, but not overwhelmingly like I would have thought.

Where do I go from here? Any suggestions?

Thank you so much for the response.
