Possible illness

I have 120 gallon tank houses many large species of tangs. All seems well just a little concerned. It seems that occasionally the clown tang will rub against the rocks and sand this does not happen very often I have noticed it two or three times in the past six months All seem to be healthy all of the parameters are in order no signs of any illnesses or white spots is this normal or should I have a reason to be concerned? all of them everything I have not noticed any breathing problems sluggishness of fish am I being over cautious?

A 120 isn't really big enough for "many large species of tangs"; IMO & IME. Scratching is almost always an indication of parasites. Are you using a QT? Have you treated with Prazi-Pro?

Yes all we Qt for 6 weeks all are happy this only happen once in a while all are eating as well
