Possible Leather infection??

Hi,

I recently got a Leather. I am friends with the owner of an LFS and I get my coral for wholesale prices. On the wholesale sheet it said Leather so I went ahead and told him to order it. I got it on Friday along with about 10 other coral, Shrimp and some fish. All the other coral and fish and shrimp are great. The Leather was great Friday and Saturday. I can actually see some green polyps starting to extend on it. The leather is about 6 inches wide. I woke up this morning and the Leather had like blotches on it. The polyps are still out but it seems like the Leather is now getting holes in it. Not sure what it is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It probably has a bacterial infection. Try spraying it with a turkey baster and a cup of diluted (use tankwater) Lugol's solution. Give it some flow also.

Its getting really bad now. I almost looks like its "rotting away". There is literally holes forming in certain areas. Should I just frag a healthy piece off before it spreads to the whole coral. I can't get out tonight and get some Lugols. Its spreading real fast and its getting worse. Let me know what you guys think.
