Possible LPS owner...

I've been wanting to order some LPS but not real sure what they are or how to take care of them. The tank has been set up for 3 years and just now got MH 250x2. Sump and skimmer working, with Kalk dosing. Mostly softies in the tank but I have a clam and some SPS's. The LPS in question are labeled from the web site: Acan Echinata Frag, Blue Edge Echino, Evolution Acan Lord, Alien Eye chalice, Exquisite Favia. Now I really don't know what Echino, Acan Lord, or Favia means. I've tried looking up info and can't find anything. Do they need fed? Lighting? Flow? Echino looks just like a thing of snot. Any help?

None of those you mentioned need direct feeding, but will encourage growth and can greatly benifit from it. All those are generally hardy especially for an established tank. most of the corals will do just fine on the bottom of your tank, some may even need indirect light, or be partially shaded more likely so at first untill the acclimate to your system. Echinophyllia can be hit or miss depending. I have lost a couple trying to find there sweet spot in the tank unsuccesfully, but mostly grow fine and are quite healthy. From most to least hardiest I would say IMO:
acan echinata
acan lord
favia
blue echino(phyllia)
alien eye echinophyllia.

If you would like to feed them, mine love rotifers(I start with these to lure there feeding response) and follow with mysis. I would start with 1 time a week untill your aware of the bioload your creating and can keep up with good husbandry, and also allowing your good bacteria to grow and compensate with heavier feedings. Then, gradually increase times per week that you feed. More than 3 times a week is not very necessary though.
