Possible MHLLE?

Hi i just purchased a lieutenant tang a week ago and recently noticed some white patches that wasn't there before. A couple of days ago i saw the similar white patch on the dorsal fin and thought it was because it was messing with the 2 barred rabbit fish and got stung. Noticed it today and it was more prominent around the left cheek area next to his mouth.

1. How old is this aquarium? The aquarium is over 3 years old but just recently broke it down to move to another location using majority of the same water and rocks.

2. If less than six months old, what is ammonia level? N/A

3. What is SG of this aquarium? How measured? 1.025 - .026 Refractometer

4. When was the last fish added to this aquarium? Just placed a royal gramma basslet that has been in my brothers aquarium that he recently broke down. It has been in there for a couple of months with no visual diseases. The 2 barred rabbitfish was added around the same time as the lieutenant tang and it seems to have Popeye. The only other fishes in the tank are a pair of occellaris clownfish that has been there since the beginning.

5. Was it quarantined? If so, how? And how long? Was it prophylactically treated? How? The last three, tang, rabbitfish and basslet, were not quarantine since i will be upgrading the tank soon and performing the tank transfer method along with qting afterwards. Just wondering how serious is it now with the tang having that unknown disease and the rabbitfish with the popeye. No medication has been administered yet.

6. If you are using a copper based medication, which one? How often do you measure level? When? N/A

7. If you are using hyposalinity, how did you calibrate your refractometer? N/A

8. Please describe in detail, the appearance of the fish? If there is one or more pimples, are they lumpy? What color? See above. The rabbit fish has eyes that are a little glossy.

9. Please describe the behavior of the fish as best you can. Is it acting reclusive? Is it always up towards the top of the aquarium? Is it avoiding light? How active is the fish? The tang and rabbit fish are active and are seen eating and grazing.

10. Is the fish eating? What? algae on rocks and walls and marine pellets.

Thank you in advance for your help!

are you running carbon? if so what kind?

also it is a bad idea to skip QT, and ttm is only for ich, any fish can introduce nasty diseases and wipe out your tank FAST....

always qt.

I'm running the brs carbon rox? I think it's called. And the white patches looks like it's on top of the skin. One of the patches disappeared today with just a little one my the mouth.

hlle can be caused by cheap carbon or carbon that has not been well rinsed. rox.8 is the good stuff.

if its on top of the skin its not hlle, and if a patch disappears just like that it is definitely not hlle

hopefully someone will chime in as i have never seem big white spots (on the skin) like that
