Possible starter tank...

Basically what I've been doing for the past two months is just researching constantly about this stuff...and I've found the Eclipse 12 Saltwater Kit at an LFS for a little less than it'd cost from the Drs. (Eclipse 12 Kit)

I was wondering if you all thought this would be a decent tank to start out with a pair of true perculas.

My master plan involves a 90g reef tank, and I thought that this 12g would be a great QT tank when I get the reef up and running in the future.

Thoughts?

The hood from E 12G fits on a 15G tall tank. More volume is better.

So if I bought the E12, I could just get a 15 tall for relatively cheap and use that instead?

Isn't the E12 kind of a bow-frontish tank?
