Possible Tank Build

Hi all,

I have been going over a few nano tanks, and now im considering the following:

1) The Aqua C Medic Yasha cube, stock

or

2) An ADA (either 30C or 60P) with ecoxotic par 38 LED and either a hob skimmer or biowheel filter. My budget is kind of limited so I probably would not get a remora protein skimmer, is the TAAM rio better than a Hagen Aquaclear (or similar filter) For flow I would use a pair of koralia nanos. Would one Led spotlight be enough coverage for an ADA 60F?

The two builds would be comparable in price, depending on the skimmer used for option 2.

I know theres alot of AIO nanos out there, but I really like the Yasha set up and its hard to beat the quality of ADA.

In terms of livestock, I was thinking of mostly softies and LPS, MAYBE one or two SPS if the lights can handle it. Also probably a small cuc, cleaner shrimp, 1-3 fish, depending on size and species and tank size.

If anybody has any experience with these tanks or equipment and could give some advice, it would be much appreciated.

If you go with option 2, I'd second the hagen aquaclear. I really like mine and I find that they are customizable.
As for a skimmer for option 2, you can run without, especially if you going with the softy/lps route. Good husbandry will keep your perams in check.

Limiting fish too will help if you run w/o a skimmer.

As for experience with either tank, sorry, I don't have any; However I do like the look of the ADA 30c myself.

For fish, I was thinking a clown, and one or two small gobies. Do you think the hagen can handle that bioload, assuming I used the 60P (17 gallons)?

With proper water changes, it should.

I'm running one on my 16, sponge, chemipure, gfo. Theres a clown in there as well. With a 3 gal water water change each week, I don't have a problem.

Cool thing with the hagen too is you can fit a small heater next to the intake as well.
