Hey guys, I introduced my powder brown in my tank. I ran it fallow for 12 weeks because of ich. I didn't add one thing to the tank during that time. I added this fish and after about 8 days of being in the tank 1 dot showed up. Then it was gone two days later. Another day later 2 specs showed up. Then a couple days later there were 3 specs on the fish. Now, no other fish are showing any signs of parasite. The thing that I don't get. These specs are huge... It's not your typical ich size.. They are white spots the size of the end of a pen. So, I caught the fish and took it out and did a freshwater dip and all three of the spots fell off. I know ich isn't usually affected by freshwater.. So my question is, what could these spots be??
