Post cycle levels..ready for fish?

I plan on doing another water change to get trates down lower.. But all in all I think after the last 4 weeks I am ready for fish!

Is 2 the highest your nitrates ever got, if so that shows very little ammonia has been processed. Were you feeding you tank, I would at last have a minimum of 20 nitrates before I would consider that an adequate cycle; even at that I would start very slowly stocking.

I would tend to agree with cougareyes. How high did your ammonia get to before it went to zero? It needs to get to at a minimum 2 ppm.

Tell us how your cycle went? Did you keep the readings when you tested your water?
