Post your seahorse tanks

In the next few weeks I'll be starting a seahorse tank..

I'd like a bunch of tank references for ideas, post some pics of your tanks here. I'd love to see as many tanks and itd be a good reference and place for everyone to share their prize :-)

argh, dang algae :-) I'm still debating what type of tank to get.. I was thinking hex, but I don't like having only a few inches of space before seeing silcone.. so theres the 37, whatever it was thats a taller tank that I'm thinking of using.. I still have a few weeks to decide.. I'm moving my reef into a new tank.. and the old reefs location will be replaced with a seahorse tank :-)

Here's a pic of my 29g.

dave i like your tank a lot, I was thinking about using a lot of the branches like yours.. are they fake or real plants in the front there? And whats that clearish circular contraption in the top left? and do your xenias pulse? cuz mine don't :-)

lots o questions, heh

tokitay yours is awesome too.. i love the pink/red colors and whatnot, very sweet!

Thanks Warhammer. The macros are real, minus the grape caulerpa (it was about to go sexual and was removed). The contraption is a wormfeeder that I use for a feeding station. I just drop a 1/2 a cube of mysis and the seahorses come a runnin. Yes the Xenia pulse :)

wow these tanks are great! What kind of equipment are you guys running on them?

Dave I'll have to keep that worm feeder in mind, seems like a good idea, thanks!

Hawkfish,

What lighting do you have over that? Are those H. kuda? How do you get them to sty so yellow? There isn't even anything yellow in that tank! Lol. No fair. I have a pair of H. kuda (temporarily housed in a 10 gallon), and they are a dirty looking yellow.

looks like the bright yella one is kuda, the other reidi... at least from that angle of the head ;)

ANYWAYS. I need more macro... that settled it.

Beautiful tank with the macro. I really like that look. I don't know anything about macro algae - is it a certain kind of macro algae? Where do you purchase it? Also, when you introduce something like that to a tank, do you have to attatch it some way or does it do that by itself? Do you have to clean or quarantine it first?
