Posting high(er) quality pics...

I have been trying to figure out a way to post better quality pictures than I have been able to. The problem is that my camera takes pretty good pictures and saves them at very large file sizes (around 2.5Mb). RC only allows you to upload 50Kb images, so I have to either edit them manually using photoshop or upload them to my kodak easyshare galleries, which just automatically reduce the quality of the images that you can browse to below 50Kb anyway. In either case, when I then post them to RC, my pictures look tiny, grainy, or both. Does anyone know a site that will let you host large images that can be linked to RC? I've seen a lot of nice pictures posted to these forums and I'd like to know how others do it.

TIA

Just put your image url in [ img ] tags.
Here is a picture that is ~ 300K

I use the save for web option in phtoshopt and resize to 640 x 480, then upload to photobucket. Photoshop does it pretty quickly (on the new system, anyway-took about five minutes a picture on my old computer). That keeps them below 100K and photobucket doesn't resize (hate it when my pics are all different sizes).

photobucket will automatically resize pictures for you if your image exceeds 512 k.
