Potters Wrasse :S

Hey!
I bought potters wrasse from my Local pet store about 1 month ago. I successfully done Quarantine with it. After watching carefully till 1 month i introduce it in the Display tank(7',2'1.5') When it was new to D.T it was petrolling amazingly nice in the whole tank but after 1 day of introducing, it got invisible. i have a DSB of about 4" i m sure it is under it as Most of the wrasse used to go under sand, but today is the 3rd day and i have not seen a bit of it. What you guyz will suggest? i m quite worried! :worried:

I'd wait a while yet before worrying too much, was it fat before you put it in the tank?

nooo not that much :/ it was feeding(dry food and fish eggs) but little.

Those wrasses are known to hide under the sand for a couple of days after introduction.

If it is still not out after a week of introduction, then maybe you can start getting a little worried.

They can hide for as long as a month. Yes, a month. Leave him alone, don't disturb the sand bed and eventually it will come out. Read the leopard wrasse primer for more info.

BTW i disturbed the sand bad little bit didn't move any rock, Will it affect?
