I was looking for a powder brown several months ago and ended up taking home a powder blue. (Don't regret that decision at all, the PBT is an awesome fish)
I saw this one floating in a bag before being released into the petri dish known as a Petco tank. Glad I got there when I did, just getting released into a Petco tank could be a death sentence for this type of fish.
Maybe 3.5 inches, exploring the tank and picking rock. Doesn't yet understand the concept of a nori clip, but ate some frozen a couple hours after acclimation. Doesn't appear stressed at all.
I've never seen an acanthurus tang look this good at a lfs. Nice and thick, my powder blue looked really skinny by comparison.
