Powder brown sick.

Got a powder brown tang at first i thought he had ich. Well 3 weeks later he still has white stuff all over him. He still eats and stays active and full bellied but he has white spots all over him and today looks like mucus or slime coat is coming off of him. So my question is maybe these spots are really just sand on him thats clumped up from the slime coming off of him. Its kinda bizare any helo would be appreciated.

Definitely. Waiting 3 weeks when you suspect ich isn't a good idea.

Well man i couldnt catch him in a 120 gal tank with over 200lbs lr. I fed him metronizdole and focus. He develped blister like things on his tail and was shedding some film, i guess slime coat, but he died last night so thanks anyway.

Sorry you lost him. I'd do some research on brooklynella; if that's in your tank, its serious. Are you using a QT with new fish? If not, deaths like this (and worse) are going to keep happening. Are any other fish showing any spots, skin problems, etc?
