power head or wavemaker

i want to get some flow going in my tank and was wondering if i should do a wavemaker or powerhead, is it just personal choice or is one benefit more then the other, as always thanks for the advice, i like seeing the different opinions

Um...Powerheads are still used when you have a wavemaker. The wavemaker starts and stops the powerheads to create a wave like current.

For a 130g tank, get yourself a couple of Tunzes and the controller. You won't be sorry.

When you say wavemakers, are you talking about the new wavemaker box that is put in your tank? If money isn't that big of a deal than I would go with the wavebox for sure. That creates a more natural current than a bunch of powerheads. I'm thinking of using one in my 120g reef display that I'm in the process of building!!!:strooper:
