Setting up a 265 gallons tank in the basement, which power heads would be recomended and if posible include location for best performance, will be stocking up heavely.

The good thing with the expensive powerhead like tunzees and vortechs is you can tune them down for the corals if you spend money on alot of koralias then you will be wasting money in the end because for sps you would want to upgrade to controllably pumps. I got an mp40 if you ever wanna come over and see how they sound supposedly the mp60 are quieter- i guess for the amount of water they move compared to the mp40.

my 180 uses 2 mag8 korilias , 2 sieo 820s, 2 korila 3s, 2 sieo 1000s. with the korilas on a wavemaker. works just fine for sps. i get a little sand storm but havent fully set them to not

imagine all those pumps in your tank ugly y not just use two mp 60s or 3 mp40s after power bill and the actually cost the mps will be cheaper
