power heads for 3/4" glass

What power heads can I use, besides mp40's can I use on a tank that has 3/4" plexiglass? they are too noisy for my taste, not too mention expensive.

You can use tunze pumps. The bigger models will work just fine on that glass.

I have used the Hydor Koralia on tanks with 3/4 inch and had no issue, I tried one on a 1 inch acrylic and NO. I ended up using two Aqueon 950 on the 1 inch acylic and they held really well. If you go to a suction cup style make sure it is one that locks into place not the old school push into the glass style.

The newer Tunzes would be your best bet.

+1 on the locking suction cup. also make sure wherever your suctioning it to is clean!
