does anyone have any koralias for sale? ineed a number 3. also does anyone have any of the spreader, the v shaped thing that clips on to the spout of the power heads?

I don't have any Koralias but I have been thinking of changing powerheads, I have 2 Seio M2600's and a controller that I will let go for $175.00 if you are interested.

i have never seen a v shapped spreader for a koralia...and i have 2 of them...they way they are bulit it gives you a wide spread flow to begin with so that spread you are talking about is usually for powerheads like the maxi jets

yeh hould have been a little more specific. the v shaped thing isnt for the koralias, its for the maxi jet. some how i lost mine and cant find it.

jrthomas: you have 2 koralis? which ones and how much?

im not selling them cuz i love them...but i have the number 4s...i had 2 number 3s i sold last year that worked great as well...best thing to do is just do some shopping around

The propeller conversions for powerheads work well.
Vastly increased flow, but not consistent with a wave-maker or power fluctuations. They will occasionally lock up due to the AC driven magnet anti-reversing mechanism.

yeah i agree they do lock up if you lose power and they are a bit older...not so much when they are new but after about a year or so....i have never done the impeller conversion because at the time the #4 was the biggest which is probably still to much for my tank....they do have the koralias now that come with the hydor wave controller...its like $500 but they do come with a wave controller now

The Banded Shark is doing great and making new friends!
I had to pull all submersible pumps and powerheads though...
They impart current into the water and the chatter / electronic noise really distresses the sharks....
