What does everyone use for a power center / timer?

Check out the American DJ powerstrip that I believe can be bought at Guitar Center. That's what a lot of people use and it gets talked about frequently on RC.

I need to get on at some point, because I'm just using 2-3 powerstrips all linked together under my tank, and am always plugging in and unplugging.

Humm I was kinda hoping there would be something that had timers built in. Preferably one that is built for a under tank environment.

I was going to purchase the corallife timer/powerstrip, but the reviews were not good. Also, consider this, if the timer breaks, the entire power center is useless.

Well American DJ powerstrip suggested by ReefWreak is the cheaper option...
You could do one of a few controllers out there used to automate tank systems but they are all in the hundreds.
Such as Reefkeeper 2 or Aquacontroller.

RK2 (Reefkeeper 2) here, Mel got a peek at it when he saw my system last week. Can't go wrong there, pretty much set it and forget it. Well you don't really forget it but you know what I mean. hehe

Coralife Powerstrip/Timers = Junk
American DJ = Great for manual control or with Timers
RK2 = Love it! I had a small issue with mine last week, their customer service and response are also very good!

From the reviews I have heard about the Reefkeeper 2, not just here on RC, but other reef keepers and some LFS...
I will be ordering 2 in a few weeks to cover my tanks.

i concur, i also will be getting the RK2 for my new system, I personally favor it over the aqua controller Jr.

take it form me, the coralife powercenter sucks, you cant control the actinics seperately so its basically a digital powerstrip with one on/off timer...whoop dee doo, and the digital party is pretty much pointless

hey corallife makes a two timer power center that is not digital. have used it on a couple different tanks with absolutely no problems.
