Powerhead connected to a UPS backup

For those of you who have a powerhead connected to a UPS backup, I would like to know what powerheads will run on a standard UPS backup (non true sine wave output). I know it is recommended to have a true sine wave output and some pumps require it, but I'm wondering if people have had success running a MJ or Seio powerhead on their UPS.

What UPS brand & model do you use?
Which pumps have worked on it?
If you have tested a run time, how long would it hold up?

Most pumps should run on it, but they won't run very well and it will shorten the pumps life span.

I have one of my Tunze 6100s connected to an APC 750W UPS.

I currently have all 3 x tunze 6000/6100 running in my UPS I think is model 150.

I have my Tunze 6000 hooked up to a Tripp-Lite UPS (from Costco!). Works well though I haven't tested to see how long it'll go. In general, from my understanding, any DC powerhead (ones that have transformers) will do OK with a non true sine wave UPS. AC powerheads need the true sine wave.
