powerheads are falling

I know this question has been asked before, but since it didn't concern me at the time, I didn't pay attention, which now I regret. Question is what is an alternative to those suction cups? Tks for any idea's

One trick (if you aren't going to move it, and it you have a glass tank) is to put a little bit of superglue or epoxy in the middle of the suction cup, then stick to glass.. It will hold forever, and you can remove with a razor blade (you will ruin the suction cups removing it though).

anyone know if simple rubber bands will hurt water quality?
Rubber bands will degrade and break sooner than you'll want them to.

Are you talking about maxi-jets? I made a ridiculously simple hanger for mine. I'll have to take some pictures one of these days.

I went to walmart and purchased their really inexpensive aquarium magnets. I think they're around $4.00 each. I glued the powerheads to the inside portion and crossed my fingers...lol. They've been doing great for about 3 months now!!

Someone mentioned the DIY article for the powerheads. You can find it here. I made three for mine, and they work quite nicely.
