Pranksters Too Has CLOSED

Frick

AZ FRAG President
I did not see this coming, but our regular meeting place Pranksters Too/ The Hall has closed permanently. So we are looking for a new place to hold our monthly meetings. If you have any suggestions or ideas please let us know in the thread below.

Requirements:

-Must seat up to 100 extra people on a Saturday at 2pm-4pm
-Free, restaurants are good because they get money from food and drink
-Be okay with live coral, fish, and saltwater on their tables
-Somewhat Central Valley area, easy to get to by everyone
-Family friendly, no inappropriate places
-Okay with a load auctioneer or presentation going on in their establishment
-Be inside

We are looking for DFF event locations as well. If we can finds a place that does both, that would be awesome.

How about making it a rotation? When Studio Blue hosted us with Hunter's presentation, I thought it was good synergy. We just need LFS to be able to host or sponsor us with these monthly gatherings.

For the planted aquarium group, we rotate from one hobbyist home to another.

We also have a freshwater group that meets monthly at Dennys of the US60 & Rural. I know that one allows members to bring livestock.

Yeah we will certainly get some more meeting at Studio Blue if we can this year. I wish we can do more LFS, but I'd prefer a good seating area, and many of them do not have that.

Kinda of the same thing with members house. There is usually not enough seating for everyone. But I wouldn't be opposed to doing a tour of reefs for one months meeting.

Bass Pro Shop off Dobson road in Mesa has an 11,000g aquarium in a large dining area that is always empty every time I'm there. I bet they would like to have us!

That would be perfect! We need like a bumblebee grouper mascot that we can bring to meetings, frags alone might be a hard sell.

Dave and Busters would be fun as well.
