Prazipro and TTM

I have 2 clowns and a bicolor angel in QT and am on day 2 of TTM. The smaller clown is not looking good. Yesterday it looked like he was flashing, but no visible signs of anything on his body. He's been lethargic and laying on his side on the bottom of the tank. He'll still come up and swim a little, but looks like he struggles. Today I noticed a long stringy white poopy thing hanging off of him all day. I'm thinking maybe he has an intenstinal parasite. I was planning on dosing prazipro on thursday, after the 2nd transfer, but don't know if I should wait so long. Should I just dose all of them now and then wait to do TTM? Or dose now and start the TTM clock over (so essentially dosing prazipro at the 1st and 3rd transfer)? Why is prazipro dosing recommended to wait until the 2nd and 4th transfer as opposed to 1st and 3rd?

Probably because the 1st is going to be stressful already. This way, the fish have a little time to settle down from being in a bag and going for a car or plane ride, or both.

Prazi is pretty safe to use so I wouldn't be worried about hurting the fish. I don't do TTM so I can't comment about the reasoning for waiting to treat with Prazi. I treat with hypo.

+1 to julie. also is to make sure the fish is eating first. otherwise you may find yourself blaming PraziPro incorrectly.
