Prazipro question

If I used a ac30 with prazipro on a qt tank can I clean the filter and use it on a reef. 1 bta and softies no fish yet. I just want a mechanical filter for my 40 b to run carbon and maybe gfo.

I think prazi pro is considered reef safe with the exception of anything that falls into the "worm" category. I've heard feather dusters. might die from it but if you wipe the filter down good with vinegar I don't see why you would have a problem so long as you don't use any of the media or floss/sock that you used on the tank w prazi
