Prazipro question

Hi,

I received a regal angel the other day but it was accidentally shipped in water that was 1.015 according to the shipper. Today I will have the water up to 1.022 after 5 days of bringing it up. He clearly has flukes. I attempted a fw dip but stopped after 2 min because his gills were so red. Is it safe to treat with prazi at 1.022? Thanks for the help!

1.022 and prazi is fine. I usually run my QT's at 1.018 - 1.020 to save on salt while the fish are in there for a couple of months. I'll raise it to my reef SG a week or so before introducing them into the DT.

I agree you are fine. I would think about adding an airstone in the tank for extra oxygen. Also don't be alarmed if the fish stop eating, PP can suppress appetites.

Be prepared to do a few rounds. I had to do four with my PBT to finally get rid of them.
